VOICES OF TENACITY

Kayla Curtis
ASEP Student, Class of 2010
My name is Kayla Curtis and I am an 8th grader at the Curley School. I decided to join Tenacity to try a new sport and I stayed in it because of the good friends I made. There is no longer a Tenacity ASEP at my school so I go to the Lilla G. Frederick School, where my brother goes, for program.
Throughout middle school, Tenacity has helped me with my homework and taught me good sportsmanship. I know a lot of words that I didn't know before I started Tenacity and I think I got better at tennis, because at first I was really bad. Tenacity also helps me with high school selection for next year. It made me open my mind to new choices.
My favorite field trip with Tenacity was going ice skating. My favorite memory was going on the camping trip with my friends.
